Paupers Painting

Fun, affordable, social painting events in Allegan, Otsego and Plainwell, Michigan. No experience or equipment needed. Just bring yourself (and a friend!) and we'll take care of the rest!

I love Wine & Canvas, and I love proper art classes, but they usually haven't fit into my schedule or budget. My goal is to provide pricing options at most events that make the fun of social painting possible for more people.

Something magic happens when we get together to paint. It is a special thing, a shared creative energy! We can encourage each other, be inspired by and motivated by each other.

Would you like to have a painting party?? Please scroll through the pages on this website for painting ideas. Most paintings are 16" x 20" and one class will offer three choices to paint on and three prices... Stretched canvas~ $35; primed Masonite~ $30; and primed cardboard for $20. But sometimes a painting will be offered with only one size and price, especially if it is a custom Masonite cut.
